\nThree willing warrior souls
\nNurses with dispositions
\nWith totally leaning roles
\nWhose eagerness to serve
\nto care, to love, really to be
\nTotally dedicated to work
\nungrudgingly<\/p>\n
The nation is in lockdown
\nSuch violence everywhere
\nA virus affecting everybody\u2019s lives
\nBringing despair
\nTo many and the sick who are
\nIn hospital today
\nNeed the unprompted the unbidden
\nhonour you display <\/p>\n
A spontaneousness and receptive
\nPenchant in the fight
\nTo be really in the front line
\nEvery day and night
\nAn unprecedented happening
\nCalls for the driven and the sure
\nWho beyond the call of duty
\nAre there just to give more<\/p>\n
Bounded by their spirit
\nBy their courage by their care
\nAll three of them are heroes
\nAnd we all are glad they are there
\nOf course there are many others
\nAnd this poem is for you
\nWith circumstances beyond control
\nYou all do what you do<\/p>\n
At the front line championing love
\nOver The worries and the distress
\nEach of you is indispensable
\nYour volition effortless
\nYour strength of will
\nThough tired yourselves
\nTo carry on the fight
\nBringing positivity
\nAnd lots of healing light<\/p>\n
Your firmness and your purpose
\nWithout prompting you are there
\nand each day it gets harder
\nBut each day you do share
\nYour strength of will and compass
\nTo the weak And the infirm
\nYou conjure up your tenaciousness
\nWhich is vital and long term<\/p>\n
Steadfast and ceaseless caring
\nAgainst all the odds as well
\nYour constancy is commendable
\nFor those experiencing their hell
\nTo Ann to Kat to Lash
\nI know you personally of course
\nYour love for all humanity
\nFor animals the source<\/p>\n
Is in your heart
\nand soul of course
\nYour deliberateness
\nAnd intent
\nIs the fuel that really drives you on
\nIt\u2019s as if you were heaven sent<\/p>\n
You look after the delicate
\nThe poor of health those who
\nAre suffering who Maybe vomiting
\nTerminally askew
\nNurse a term encompassing every trait
\nAround
\nIn the spot light really always
\nHaving your firm feet on the ground<\/p>\n
Today with the corona scares
\nIt\u2019s perilous to be
\nWhere the gathering clouds
\nAre forming really constantly
\nThere is vulnerability
\nAs warriors though you be
\nNaked and exposed but
\nWith repose and apparently<\/p>\n
Give and share and stay Aware
\nThe need now is to be
\nReally angels truly angels
\nDespite the adversity
\nYou feel too
\nWe all feel
\nBut you are where it\u2019s happening now
\nRescuing the weak of heart
\nAnd showing others how<\/p>\n
Venturesome and pioneering
\nQualities you hold
\nEach one of you take it on yourselves
\nTo be seen as always bold
\nExhaustion does affect you
\nBut again you show us all
\nYou have just so much spirit

Lots of understanding

\nThe best of friends to sick and dying souls
