We found him on a construction site
\nLooking the worst for wear
\nClearly he was hungry
\nand in his own despair
\nScalding at his rear end
\nAnd a big wound at his side
\nHis tail was full, of maggots
\nAnd he had no place to hide<\/p>\n
Surely he was suffering
\nBut lamenting he was not
\nHis courage clearly obvious
\nIt must have hurt a lot
\nMaggots were a chewing at all the necrotic stuff
\nand when we brought him back to camp
\nHe had had enough<\/p>\n
Looked emaciated and clearly suffering so
\nWe cleaned him up and dusted his with maggots dust
\nTo show
\nthen bandaged him it\u2019s kills the maggots
\nSo the next day, we
\nCan clean them off and check the wound
\nand really try to be
\nAs helpful as is possible
\nAnd all the time we saw
\nHe must have been in agony
\nBut was calm and very sure<\/p>\n
The following day we removed the dressings
\nPicked off the maggots and
\nCleansed the wounds and applied the anti septic
\nHe could stand
\nAnd did and we just loved him cuddled him
\nAs well went about our healing
\nHope really we could free<\/p>\n
Up his pain a little
\ncertainly clean him well
\nGive him some sweet greenery
\nAnd remove him from his hell
\nSeveral of our ladies loved him
\nAnd we saw
\nHe really did appreciate the love and care
\nFor sure<\/p>\n
Probably no one had loved him
\nFor many a long year
\nNobody had noticed him
\nAnd his life filled with fear
\nAnd scalding oh the agony
\nAnd when the maggots came
\nIt must have really upset him
\nBut he just remained game<\/p>\n
And now with love and care
\nHe is perfect again
\nHe walks around our yard each day
\nLooking extra vain
\nBut clearly he went through it
\nAnd with duty of care.came on through the hardship
\nAnd now together share<\/p>\n
