I’m a Turkey
\nand I have survived
\nthe Cristmyth rush
\nYes I’m still here
\nthe children, liked me
\nthey
\nit seems got me
\na stay of execution
\nas their pet
\nit appeared,
\nthe only way<\/p>\n
But now I have to think
\nabout my parents
\nby this time partly eaten
\nlying lost
\ntrivialised and decked
\nin sauce and honey
\nmy dear mama oh she
\nwould be a cost
\nshe always said
\nshe loved me
\nand she showed it
\nso I do miss her
\nnow so very much
\nMy father was a rough neck
\ntoo much gobble
\nalways with the lads
\nso out of touch<\/p>\n
in many ways it does pay
\nto be little
\nbut now what can I do
\nI’m all alone
\nBoxing day its what the humans
\ncall today
\nbut sit here quietly
\nreally, and not moan
\nI must say it is very quiet
\nthis morning
\nall the curtains drawn
\nno one about
\ntoo much turkey
\ntoo much Christmyth pudding
\ntoo much sherry
\nah! there is no doubt<\/p>\n
the rain and wind
\nplays havoc with emotion
\nalthough most do not
\nworry about the death
\nof Turkeys, Capons, Geese and the
\ndear Guinea Fowl
\nthe factor here
\nis they were denied breath
\nDucks, I hear a few of them
\nstill swimming on the lake
\nluckily for them
\nof course they fly
\nwhen they got the sixth sense
\nthey were soon getting the chop
\nthey flapped their wings
\nand off they go, that’s why<\/p>\n
and then of course there are some
\nvegetarians
\nthey don’t eat us
\nbut they are responsible for
\nthe calves who go to slaughter
\nand of course the ones who are killed
\nso they can sup the milk and cheese
\na lot of blood is spilled
\nand eggs of course those people
\neat eggs and yes more souls
\nare slaughtered, ground up daily
\nthere are simply no controls
\nthose little yellow fluffy male chicks
\nwhat a way to go
\nground up in a mincer
\nto slop, I scream out No<\/p>\n
Still the veggies save us
\nand the more the merrier I say
\notherwise we end up on a plate
\noh yes we pay
\nstuffed with herbs and pig meat
\nup our arse hole, we
\nare then wrapped up in
\npigs breast and roasted
\ntill we be
\nburned and very smelly
\nthat’s when the humans say
\nthey have to pour rich gravy
\nover us, oh God dismay!<\/p>\n
the parsons nose is ripped off
\nand a secret wish is made
\nby this time all the memories
\nof father will just fade
\nit makes me sad but really
\nand truthfully it shows
\nthe depth of character
\namongst the humans,
\nI suppose<\/p>\n
Its strange they never realise actually that we
\nhave percentage points of karma
\nin our being, a guarantee
\nthat the universe will pay back
\nwith some horror, but very few
\nof them care for they do believe
\nin medicine a view
\nexpressed by those
\nin white coats
\nwho save them
\nbut they share
\nthe same fate for their murdering ambitions
\neverywhere
\nand horror comes to each of them oh yes
\nanyway
\nand the Satanist’s who fill the world
\nwith chemicals, they pay<\/p>\n
Then there are the VEGANS
\nwow we love them
\nthey do not eat or wear
\nor e’re abuse
\nthey are our friends
\nwhich sends a lovely message
\nto all earthlings
\nthey are our benefactors
\nthey’re Good News!
\nand that transcends
\nfor the other evil people
\nthe butchers, Hunters
\nslaughtermen about
\nthe airlines like Air France yes and
\nAir India shipping our dear Monkeys
\nyes they flout
\nand the Universities where vivisection
\nterrible embittered souls we know
\nall tortured
\nat the hands of corporate devils
\nfor face creams and your cleaners
\nwhich do grow
\nSo I’m spared
\nfor I’m the children’s pet
\ncome Easter
\nI’ll be bigger
\nthat’s unless, I try
\nto diet I wont eat the corn
\nthey throw me
\nor I’ll end up I suppose
\nin some sad pie
\nso there you are
\na bit about the real true
\nearthling sacrifice
\nwe do it for our brethren
\ntheir future will be nice
\na Happy life to all you vegans
\nout there, you are great
\nyou eat the fresh raw vegetables
\nand don’t want us on your plate
\nand future worlds will
\nencompass a no death strategy
\nwhen vegans will be living
\nand the karma guarantee
\nwill have long since been forgotten
\nwhen all our lives will be
\nunderwritten by the
\nUniverse
