We were summoned

\nTook him to the vet

\nHis injuries very bad

\nNeeded attention

\nSomeone had shot him
\nA broken spine We
\nWere ever so upset
\nSurgery yes
\nHis feet still showed feeling

He has had surgery
\nAnd is coming along
\nWe feed him by hand
\nHe eats little and long
\nHe wounds are now healing

\nHis nerves clearly rampant
