\nWhen keeping a hound
\nAnd to be so insensitive
\nWhen she\u2019s Round
\nLeft out in the cold
\nJust every night
\nNot fed or watered
\nOf course it\u2019s not right<\/p>\n
That was poor \u201cIndy\u201d
\nThat was her life
\nAll day just lying around
\nAnd the strife
\nOf freezing and sleeping
\nOut in the snow
\nWith no food to speak of
\nNo one wanted to know<\/p>\n
She had a place
\nBut nobody cared
\nWhen a tourist realised
\nAnd then he shared
\nSome food and he realised
\nHer mental state
\nAnd she was suffering
\nWhich wasn\u2019t great<\/p>\n
So he began to feed her
\nAnd checked out rescue
\nHowl for a dog came
\nAnd realised who
\nHad now neglected her
\nShe was alone
\nCamped on the hotel front
\nAnd he was blown<\/p>\n
Away by the suffering
\nThis dog\u2019s life here
\nAnd decided to rescue her
\nAnd bring some cheer
\nTo a dogs life for clearly
\nWhere she did stay
\nLeft her inconsolable
\nIn every way<\/p>\n
A lost soul in fact
\nA refusal to be
\nIn a state of wonder
\nNow apparently
\nResigned to the sadness
\nAnd to being alone
\nNo one to speak to her
\nNobody she\u2019d known<\/p>\n
Now she was being fed
\nand what they do
\nIs take her to the vet
\nGet her spayed
\nIt was true
\nChecked out and
\nGiven a clean bill of health
\nAnd temporary home
\nAnd a sharing of wealth<\/p>\n
A warm bed some regular food
\nEveryday
\nLife wasn\u2019t meaningless
\nThere seemed a way
\nForward and joy
\nAnd someone who cared
\nIt does make a difference
\nYou just don\u2019t feel scared<\/p>\n
On your own wherever
\nWhatever you do
\nYou hAve to do it yourself
\nAnd then the clue
\nWhen nobody cares
\nAnd that hurts a lot
\nSo to be in a home somewhere
\nYou know you\u2019ve got<\/p>\n
A new lease of life
\nThe old tail starts to wag
\nA forever home
\nCould be in the bag
\nThis is Romania
\nUp on the hill
\nAnd that rotten hotel
\nYes well it still<\/p>\n
Is locked in my head
\nBut now someone cares
\nAnd I have a friend
\nAnd yes he shares
\nHis ball and his basket
\nHe shares them with me
\nand my tail is now wagging
