\nThey inflame
\nevery sensitivity
\nFor pachyderms when made
\nShould not be Forced to Carry out
\nBurdens that are laid
\nActs of vilest cruelty
\nSenselessness and pain
\nUnforgiving and vindictive
\nWhich is no way to gain
\nThe confidence of pachyderms
\nWhose dispositions are
\nTolerant and responsive
\nAnd so it\u2019s very far
\nAway from their benevolence
\nAnd the German way
\nWhich involves persecution
\nAnd oppressive acts each day<\/p>\n
The Germans just lack humour
\nIll natured one might say
\nCallous and cold blooded
\nIt\u2019s the German way
\nTyrannical and haughty
\nA clash of feelings here
\nAnd spitefulness and severity
\nBrings on the waves of fear
\nBull hooks whips and stun guns
\nCreate a rancorous stew
\nThat puts the elephants backs up
\nWhich no one ought to do
\nTo brutalise and torture them
\nAs Pachyderms they be
\nVery highly sensitive
\nBut obligingly
\nReady to be friendly
\nBut equally ready too
\nMade unforgiving
\nAnd disloyal and to view
\nThe hostile and unfriendly
\nThe brutal and the rough
\nThe swearing and the aggression
\nAnd captors acting tough
\nSpitefulness and viciousness
\nIs a malignancy
\nIt gets indide our heads
\nAnd then all that we can see
\nIs unkindness and savagery
\nAnd all their pent up fear
\nMade to do such silly tricks
\nJust all through the year<\/p>\n
Travelling all over
\nThreatened day and night
\nLots of sabre rattling
\nNo one to invite
\nCare and understanding
\nIt\u2019s relentless every day
\nThey just want their pound of flesh
\nAnd in every single way
\nSled pulling through the snowy parts
\n5 sledges every trip
\nThrough the snow and ice
\nWe are made
\nThe frost too it let\u2019s rip
\nIt\u2019s terribly uncomfortable
\nTrudging through the snow
\nCarrying the children
\nAnd their parents as you know<\/p>\n
Suffering from frost bite
\nThe cold it hurts our feet
\nOur Ears and tails are sensitive
\nStanding in the street
\nSuffering the ingratitude
\nOf everybody who
\nDemands that we continue
\nTo just do what we do<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s all about wrongheadedness
\nWhich is a German trait
\nThey kind of look down on us
\nLike to discriminate
\nWe are unworthy and not entitled
\nTo expect respect at all
\nWe are shouted at and beaten
\nAnd chained against the wall<\/p>\n
For them it is our duty
\nTo be talked down to each day
\nTo be beaten with the whip or hook
\nFor that\u2019s the German way
\nIt is our bounded duty
\nTo give in and to strive
\nTo commit and to engage each day
\nReally to survive<\/p>\n
They neglect us
\nThat\u2019s for certain
\nThe irreverence that\u2019s here
\nThere isn\u2019t any honour
\nOnly hours of fear
\nScoffing mocking sarcasm
\nThats every single day
\nAnd always so unflattering
\nIn every single way<\/p>\n
They rile and so emphatically
\nGetting under our skin
\nWear away and make us sore
\nAnimals cannot win
\nDespised to slave laboriously
\nHumiliated we
\nSpurned by all their puerility
\nAnd superiority.<\/p>\n
And never any approval
\nNo kudos for the soul
\nNot a speck of admiration
\nJust a niggling control
\nFault finding and black looks
\nAnd disapproval every day
\nThis is life in Germany
\nFor its the German way<\/p>\n
The five of us
\nHave our own selves
\nTo share the stints each day
\nWe clearly help each other out
\nEmotionally we pay
\nAttention to each other
\nAnd suffer yes of course
