Hopelessness and desperation
\nRally at this point today
\nHordes of people clad in little
\nCarrying little but dismay
\nResigned to leave their homes
\nAnd search for utopia
\nBeyond their thoughts
\nOut there in the wide horizon
\nIn mileage terms just add some naughts<\/p>\n
Armies with high expectations
\nInappropriate thoughts let\u2019s say
\nA new home in some far off city
\nWhere others struggle anyway
\nThe etiquette that is prevailing
\nThe rough sleepers where there is more
\nAnd families in the various food banks
\nThat society does just ignore
\nHand outs they don\u2019t get much money
\nBut migrant families they expect
\nFood and lodgings given freely
\nAn irony I do detect<\/p>\n
EDIME a border town

\nFeel it squelching every which way
\nHow on earth can it\u2019s still be
\nAccepting of the armies coming
\nInvasion it feels seemingly
\nDesperation on their faces
