Life is about animals
\nNot blue gum never logging
\nTaking out the forest
\nTearing down the trees
\nRipping through the oxygen
\nViolently descending
\nA new crucifixion
\nAs the spirited are bending<\/p>\n
The Koala gifted miracle
\nLiving in no other land
\nAn emotional intelligence
\nThat loggers fail to understand
\nMaking money for its sake
\nWanting the cake and the cream too
\nAt the expense of miracles
\nThat transfer into some caged zoo<\/p>\n
Australia must realise
\nMust understand must discriminate
\nNot against the Koala but the blue gum loggers
\nWho would decimate
\nThe forests
\nWho would do this with koalas in situ
\nWhere babies cry under the sky
\nFor that is what they do<\/p>\n
Put them all in cages
\nThe loggers that\u2019s my cry as for the gifts of nature
\nBut those who only lie
\nWhose eyes can\u2019t see the miracles
\nWhose hearts are wood and knots
\nWhose banks accounts are laced with ale
\nThey are a bunch of snots<\/p>\n
Koalas need protection
\nAll of wild life does
\nIconic souls have special roles
\nThey bring that valid buzz
\nThat draws the eyes of many
\nIt\u2019s money in the bank
