A Shih Tzu dog was found in Detroit
\nLooking The worse for wear
\nSo matted up with pure neglect
\nThat all that luxurious hair
\nHad tightened and the poor dog
\nWas unable to walk
\nNo fleas it seems
\nBut basically they hadn\u2019t walked it\u2019s talk<\/p>\n
Months it seems of true neglect
\nNo grooming sadly for
\nThis pooch who seemed exhausted
\nAnd wanting for more
\nBack at the vets
\nThe clear need was to
\nGet some of the mat
\nOff her legs and body
\nAnd that very much was that<\/p>\n
We called her \u201cpebbles\u201d
\nDon\u2019t ask me why
\nAnd eventually we
\nSedated her and cut most of the matting
\nAnd shaved her she
\nWhen she came around
\nStayed pretty quiet
\nAnd seemingly as we
\nshaved the last remaining hair
\nHer body we could see
\nShe wasn\u2019t thin
\nOr emaciated so hadn\u2019t been out long
\nFor me she might just have been dumped
\nBecause she wasn\u2019t strong<\/p>\n
She couldn\u2019t walk she couldnt fly
\nSo seemingly they must
\nHave dumped her and just driven off
\nIn a cloud of dust<\/p>\n
These kind of individuals
\nWith an expensive dog
\nPresumably neglected her
\nClearly not a cog
\nIn someone\u2019s life apparently
\nSo rejected out of care
\nThankfully we found her
