Being in the forest
\nIs the life for me
\nUp there in the mountain passes
\nIt\u2019s where I like to be
\nFleet of foot breathing hard
\nClimbing over rocks
\nNibbling the greenery
\nThe dandelions and docks
\nThe mountain air it fills my lungs
\nWith everything that\u2019s good
\nIt keeps my eyes alive
\nAnd seeing everything I should
\nThe eagle and the cougar
\nAnd the hunters who
\nCreep about in camouflage
\nA nice fat buck to view<\/p>\n
They are the scourge of wildness
\nAn affliction I can say
\nAnd now there are women at it
\nHigh powered rifles far away
\nAll we see is sunlit glints
\nAnd possibly we hear
\nThe bullet leave the barrel
\nAnd already it is here
\nA nagging pain a bitterness
\nForeboding it\u2019s out there
\nThese so called human hunters
\nRiches everywhere
\nBig trucks lots of equipment
\nEvery sort of thing
\nThey don\u2019t have jobs to go to
\nFor them it\u2019s just a fling<\/p>\n
Go and kill the wildlife
\nCut them down and run
\nWatch the wildlife suffer
\nRot out in the sun
\nFreedom was the buzzword
\nThis is what we do
\nWe are the free spirits
\nWatching twats like you
\nA mountain goat that\u2019s me folks
\nTrying to stay clear
\nFirst it was the hunting men
\nNow it\u2019s those I fear
\nDressed in all the camouflage
\nSilver tights and all
\nWith first rate bloody rifles
\nAnd don\u2019t they think that are cool<\/p>\n
It\u2019s all social media driven
\nPictures on Facebook
\nLook at all my victims
\nAnd the joints that we all cook
\nThen thenThey are after antlers
\nPossibly a head or two
\nTo hang it in their trophy room
\nThat\u2019s is what they do
\nTo be a wild mountain goat
\nIn this day and age
\nWith all the paraphernalia of the hunters page
\nall sorts of ammunition
\nCross bows and the like
\nLures and every conceivable trick
\nAnd then of course the hike<\/p>\n
Of course some of us fall foul
\nTo the high powered rifle game
\nOfcourse our eyes are everywhere
\nAnd the scent to does inflame
\nUs all but we just have to take our chances
\nWhere we can
\nAnd hope to god the women hunters
\nIt don\u2019t go to plan<\/p>\n
For them it\u2019s about glamour
\nIt\u2019s all puffery
\nThey are just shag bunnies
\nOut for the infamy
\nOf murdering some wildlife
\nImagining then men
\nWill reckon them and join in
\nHunting parties when<\/p>\n
Subtlety and slipperiness
\nSmoke filled rooms and more
\nWe really must work higher
\nIn the mountains where there is more
\nSpace depend on lichens
\nAnd just keep well away
\nFrom where the ladies rifles are
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
Mud and slime and ice and snow
\nAnd heavy rain they will not go
\nIt\u2019s fashion time in tights and shoes
\nHunting women sing the blues
\nSocial media now we must
\nNot be the victim in the dust
\nStay ahead and hopefully
