Oh! good
\nI’m going for a walk
\nand in Daddies car!
\nhe’s took my lead
\nand collars
\nmy rubber ball and star
\nbut what does he want all
\nthem for?
\nits dark and rainy too
\n“Come on Monster”
\nout we go
\nis mummy coming?,
\nthrough
\nthe window I can see her
\nlooking quite forlorn
\nI was off with daddy
\nhow long would we be gorn?<\/p>\n
he drove out
\npassed the garden centre
\nand, went passed the park
\nup into the forest
\nwhere everywhere was dark
\nthen he drove even faster
\nthe speedo light it glowed
\nhe did look very angry
\nand I didn’t know the road
\nto the other side of town
\nwhen he pulled up fast
\n“come on lad its here we’re getting out
\nmy dye was cast
\nhe took my stuff and lobbed it
\nover yonder
\nI stayed quiet
\nwasn’t gonna wander
\nlets go for a run
\nthen he pulled out his gun
\nI scarpered like a whippet
\nand soon found
\nthey wanted to get shot of me
\nI’d become a pain
\ncosting too much dosh it seems
\nand now out in the rain
\ndad was gonna shoot me!
\nand leave me in some copse
\nnow I’m in the darkness
\nmiles away from shops
\nfrom home
\neven from street lights
\nand nobody knew now where
\nI haven’t got a collar on
\nand for me, its just despair
\nGod knows what my future holds
\nbut I will never be the same
\nI could end up
\nexperimented on that’s what
\nsome claim
\nthat strays are picked up daily
\nand carted off to where
\nthey do all sorts of experiments
\nit really don’t seem fair
\nno dad or mum to care for me
\nits Christmas, and I’m lost
\nI suppose they’re desperate
\nfor everything does cost
\nthe vet bill’s and the cans they buy
\nthe vaccines, I can see
\nI don’t feel bad about them
\nbut I do feel
