Another unfortunate Staffordshire
\nThis one in New South Wales
\nLiving in a household
\nIt\u2019s was one of those sad tales<\/p>\n
Where his guardian was an avid gardener
\nWho bought synthetic grass
\nAnd it\u2019s alleged the dog
\nHad damaged it
\nAnd so what came to pass<\/p>\n
Was his owner got a hammer.
\nand hit him on the head
\nSliced his tongue with a knife
\nAs well and left him for dead<\/p>\n
More than ten times he was whacked
\nImagine that will you
\nAnd then just let the poor dog suffer
\nAnd all this is true<\/p>\n
Never took him to the vet
\nDespite the injury
\nAnd only when the police were called
\nDid anybody see<\/p>\n
the real extent of suffering
\nBut still the aggressor he
\nWasn\u2019t sent to jail for this
\nHe was left Scott free<\/p>\n
With some community work
\nAnd a correction order<\/p>\n
He should be banned from keeping animals
\nAnd be given jail time
\nEspecially since the dog was left to suffer
\nNEver sent to the vet to get remedial treatment
\nJust suffered that\u2019s all.<\/p>\n
Clearly knew if he took dog to vet the vet would notify the authorities
\nAnd he couldn\u2019t have that so the poor dog suffered more pain
