\n\u201cODIN\u201d so we hear
\nAbandoned on a construction site
\nIn the footings
\nIt was clear
\nLethargic and ill fated
\nJust quietly laying there
\nWe were called to see
\nJust how he was
\nWhether aware
\nApparently he didn\u2019t move
\nStricken by it all
\nHe was looking doleful
\nUnresponsive when we did call
\nWe tried him on some treats
\nHe wasn\u2019t all that keen
\nJust sitting where we had found him
\nAnd apparently where he had been<\/p>\n
For some time feeling nonchalant
\nHis winter of discontent
\nHe just seemed so unhappy
\nWe didn\u2019t make a dent
\nAnd so we brought a cage up
\nGuessed it would be best
\nTo lift him up into the cage
\nAnd carry him, I jest<\/p>\n
He farted as we lifted him
\nInto the lifters face
\nSomething to remember him by
\nNerves I think to face
\nall these strangers helping
\nIt kind of rocked his boat
\nAnd he was soon inside the car
\nYes something to note
\nStraight to the vet
\nTo examine him
\nNeuter him
\nAnd vaccinate
\nMicro chip him
\nAll the works
\nClearly he was feeling great
\nAll that that good attention
\nHis Germanic pedigree
\nA complete realisation
\nHe was how he ought to be
\nBoisterous and ready
\nTo expend some energy
\nHappy as a sand boy
\nNo more lethargy<\/p>\n
