Its Christmas Eve
\nand its snowing
\nthe children are asleep
\nits cold outside
\nits bitter
\nicicles now weep
\ndown the windows
\nfreezing
\nthe hearth is full of fire
\nand outside the door
\nsits a puppy dog
\nwith a rather bloodied jaw
\nhe was thrown out on his ear
\nit seems, for farting
\nhis human had a lady around
\nfor tea
\nand he had farted
\nsitting in between them
\nand paid the price
\nfor stealing beans at tea<\/p>\n

a boot had caught his mouth
\nhis teeth were broken
\nand out into the cold
\nhe had made his way
\nshivering as the icy blast
\nreally froze his body fast
\nit seemed that this might
\nbe his final day
\nthen he saw the snowman
\nand our light, deciding to
\ncome and slump down by our door
\nwhich is, what he did do<\/p>\n

whimpering, and I heard him
\nhe was weak but seemed to me
\nalive I opened up the door
\nto a snow flurry or three
\nhe was shaking and was covered
\nwith bits of frozen snow
\nI laid him down
\nclose to the fire
\nhe apparently did know
\nhis teeth and jaw they
\ndid look dire
\nwho was the so and so<\/p>\n

who had done this evil
\nthing to him
\na little puppy dog
\nclearly he was shaken
\nresting by my log
\nhis doleful eyes
\nwere all that I could see
\nlike saucers they
\nwere deeper than an ocean
\nand wide open as he lay
\na plate of meaty soup
\nhe slurped
\nhe looked up at me
\nand he burped
\nclosed his eyes
\nand went to sleep
\nand for 3 hours
\nnot a single peep
\nhe kicked his legs
\na few times, he
\nwas running from
\nsomeone frantically
\nhe, yelped once
\nthat little pup
\nbut in the morning
\nhe did not wake up
\nclearly who ever
\nthe devil was
\nthat kick had killed him
\nand just because
\nof some puppy behaviour
\nif only I
\ncould have found who did this
