\nof the Bow man
\nall clad in his
\ncamouflage gear
\nwith his bow and his arrows
\nand his outlook that narrows
\non a young handsome Buck
\nwho is near<\/p>\n
in the same stretch of forest
\ninvited by karma
\nit could be who knows
\nwho can say
\nan ear on the wind
\nan eye on the tree
\ntasting the fresh grass
\nand just being free
\nthinking believing
\nand perhaps achieving
\nwho now can see
\nnot even me<\/p>\n
to witness this stand off
\nand wonder
\nthe hide’s in a rickety state
\nthe wind was both violent
\nand purposeful
\nand also bore the hunters weight
\nthe Buck he’s aware of the morning
\nand is sharing the spirit
\nof light
\nand the berries blown down
\noff the trees and the sounds
\nat the end of the long stormy night
\nan owl gives a rather contemplative
\nhoot
\nand the buck turns
\nand runs at some speed
\nthe bow man reacts
\njust as the hide cracks
\nand is dead
\nand his head starts to bleed
\nin the litter he lies
\nwith two bloodshot eyes
\nstaring straight up at the sky
\nwith his bow
\nit was his time today
\nthe Buck got away
\nkarma repaid
