It\u2019s really grim to be alone
\nAnd in pain one has to say
\nand \u201dYara\u201d she ticked all these boxes
\nThat was on the day
\nWe got a call
\nTo rescue her
\nHiding in a den
\nUnderneath a bush
\nAmongst the roots
\nAnd that was when
\nfear of human beings
\nWas Potent in her soul
\nShe growled a lot and barked a bit
\nTrying to control
\nClearly she was Injured
\nOne of her front legs bad
\nAnd clearly in her psyche
\nShe was Ultra sad<\/p>\n
I tried to be as gentle
\nAs kindly as I could be
\nOffering food and water
\nAnd calming just to see
\nA gentle snare she bit through
\nClearly all that woe
\nSo much tribulation
\nAnd suffering you know<\/p>\n
She wanted help but wanted
\nJust to lay there and just be
\nHelped just without moving
\nYou can understand yes we
\nFaced with terrible agony
\nWhat would anyone do
\nMoan a lot and lay there
\nAnd hope our dreams come true<\/p>\n
I had to call for help
\nAnd Loretta came along
\nWe tried to snare her once again
\nBut sadly that went wrong
\nAnd so we got a trap out
\nAnd guided her inside
\nAnd carried her into the car
\nAnd I would have lied
\nTo say I wasn\u2019t fearful
\nA bite would surely be
\nVery very painful
\nAnd she meant it actually
\nNot because she was aggressive
\nHer crushed leg gave such pain
\nShe was starving she was in great shock
\nAll of this was plain<\/p>\n
Back at the vet
\nThe leg was crushed
\nAll the bones were lost
\nIt called for amputation
\nWhatever happened cost
\nHer a leg, such trauma
\nWe may never know
\nWhat really had caused this
\nBut we know why she was low
\nFed and watered and cared for
\nTrained a bit awhile
\nFostered she is seeking
\nA forever home in style
\nShe really is a lovely soul
\nWho has gone through
\nSo much pain
\nWill Somebody out there
\ncome and help her
\nBe happy again.<\/p>\n
