An early rising
\nmet with a surprising
\nviolence
\nShe Is suffering
\nShe\u2019s feminine in flight
\nClearly wanting nothing
\nof what is this early roughness
\nAs the Tedium of Winter
\ntries to smite
\nHer waxy green leaves
\ncoping with this fury
\nHer golden tresses
\nHopeful now to gain
\nTrying to withstand
\nthe wilt and weakness
\nSo the effort
\nshe expends is not
\nIn vain.<\/p>\n
A single daffodil
\nis being battered
\nBut is managing with difficulty
\nto remain
\nUpright in the swirl
\nand sway of a February storm
\nWith innocence
\nand beauty she does gain
\nA foothold in the image
\nof the morning
\nAgainst the backdrop
\nof a hurling roar
\nA khaki sky and the lacy twigs
\nof winter
\nAnd The early blooming
\nfrom a frosty floor<\/p>\n
and now the hail is cutting
\nand is bruising
\nAn audaciousness and intrepidity
\nDoting on the hopefulness
\nthat endurance
\nWill win through in the end
\nAnd we shall see.
\na carpet of Spring Flowers
\nThe glorious Crocuses
\nNarcissus and Jonquills
\nEverywhere
\nUtter joy
\nand perhaps a tell tale aura
\nFor those that see
\nAnd are of course aware<\/p>\n
