\nIn the world of animals
\nCan tragically create a world
\nWhere compassion can be lost
\nThe empathy of caring
\nOf living life and sharing
\nOf facing competition
\nAnd making life your mission
\nLife is pure and sacred
\nWhich ever life we view
\nOur lives and our families lives
\nAnd all lives for they do
\nRepresent creation the miracle of life
\nWhether an Ant or an elephant
\nOr a dolphin, added strife
\nAnd senselessness in killing
\nWantonly should be
\nRealised as sinful
\nBy all with eyes to see<\/p>\n
The indiscriminate murdering
\nOf wildness in the ocean
\nIn the seas and rivers
\nReally that sad notion
\nOf Seine netting it\u2019s invention
\nAnd use commercially
\nTells us just how sick we have become
\nAnd how we be
\nKilling and creating by-catch
\nIt\u2019s a word
\nWe have made it up to make it sound
\npalatable it\u2019s absurd
\nIt\u2019s wicked and it\u2019s wholly wrong
\nWith system in place we
\nHunt and fish for living souls
\nWho creatively are free<\/p>\n
Perhaps we want one type of fish
\nAnd catch a whole lot more
\nQuota\u2019s in place or just we face
\nThe impression we ignore
\nLife and all its meaning
\nCreation it\u2019s denied
\nThe purse Seine we employ it
\nAnd in its death throes hide
\nA fishing boat this week
\nWas caught in Mevagissey Bay
\nRing netting with a purse Seine
\nWith DOLPHINS in the way
\nthey May have been after mackerel
\nBut indiscriminate use
\nOf Seine nets means
\nThe DOLPHINS were liable to abuse<\/p>\n
Wild dolphins are more sensitive
\nThan the fishermen and they
\n hate to be
\nCaught up in the Seine nets
\nFor the way
\nThey are in fact constructed
\nMeans a buffeting ensues
\nAnd this stresses the sensitives
\nWhich for me is awful news
\nIt\u2019s possible that some carnivores
\nConsuming death each day
\nDon\u2019t mind being indiscriminate in their killing
\nEvery day
\nThey don\u2019t care if some measly crab or sea urchin is lost
\nAs long as they catch their mackerel
\nThe rest can just be tossed
\nBack into the ocean this is improbity
\nReality says it\u2019s wasteful but it criminality
\nTo create life is miraculous to obliterate life therefore
\nIs wrong and deemed iniquitous
\nWe are now making war
\nThe quest for whatever species
\nThe indiscriminate must
\nBe considered criminal
\nAnd totally unjust<\/p>\n
The vessel caught in Cornwall
\nShould have been reported, they
\nShould have had their bloody catch
\nAll taken away
\nBy-catch is creating victims
\nAll the time
\nIt\u2019s wrong on every count
\nAnd the figures climb and climb
\nWords like cull and by catch
\nSofter words that let
\nThe human being off
\nWhilst we are in the debt
\nOf creation and our Mother
\nWho serves us everywhere
\nThe biosphere is suffering
\nFrom what is our despair<\/p>\n
Trapping seining indiscriminate hunting
\nMust be banned
\nQuotas like the EU quota\u2019s
\nWho can understand
\nThrow back by-catch wastage
\nOf living created souls
\nIs arrogance personified
\nAnd we must put in controls<\/p>\n
To stop this wholesale slaughter
\nWhatever else we do
\nMore of us should eat less
\nAnd be entirely true
\nBy catch it is murder
\nIt is criminal
\nAnd should
\nBe seen as such and perpetrators
\nAre anything but good
\nIgnorance and insensitivity
\nThe other day
\nCaused the death of dolphins
\nIn Mevaggissey Bay
\nThat is a great sadness
\nThe fisherman should be
\nHauled before the courts
\nAnd all then made to pay <\/p>\n
Politically correct words
\nSoftening so to say
\nLike culling which is murder
\nLike by catch it is way
\nOff the point of no return
\nIt is evil to the core
\nAnd So many other words in use
