A potter and an Artist
\nA need to excavate
\nA mindful glimpse through history
\nA medieval gait
\nTo primitive beginnings
\nThe Bygone forgotten days
\nRetroactive thinking
\nAnd all the many ways
\nShe was part of Nature
\nRespecting each event
\nAn originator
\nShe gave her consent
\nTo using clays and precious earths
\nHer Genesis deemed true
\nAnd A practical design sense
\nThat clearly just burst through<\/p>\n
Living in the old house
\nSurrounded by the trees
\nHoarding all those memories
\nWorking just to please
\nThe many forms in nature
\nCrafting with hand and eye
\nWith onion skins and leaves and others
\nproviding the dye
\nShe was inspired by RIEGGER
\nIn the sixties and she saw
\nThe different clays around the place
\nShe painted more and more
\nKinetic art and substance
\nintaglio and relief
\nWhittling chiselling chasing
\nShe had that strong belief<\/p>\n
Her artwork and identity
\nAn enactment of her soul
\nShe look backwards and through Nature
\nShe had recognised her role
\nHer clarity of purpose
\nThe complexity of how
\nThe conciseness of tomorrow
\nAnd the need to work hard now
\nShe had a fear of loss and thereby
\nCouldn\u2019t throw away
\nEverything had value
\nAnd was part of everyday
\nShe spent accumulating
\nUntil she could no more
\nLike her the house was ailing
