The humility and patience
\nOf the angel who came by
\nWho could see the undoubted suffering
\nOf a dog and thought to try
\nand catch her, she was restless
\nImpulsive and she ran
\nThrough the thorns and bushes
\nClearly not the plan
\nBut the angels were
\nFor catching her
\nAnd carried on to see
\nIf they could feed her
\nSleeping pills
\nand slow her down
\nA key
\nMethod in the rescue
\nOf this frightened soul
\nAnd sure enough they managed
\nAnd with patience and control<\/p>\n
Caught her and put her in
\nBox
\nAnd took her to the vet
\nHer little tail was wagging still
\nAnd it seems the bet
\nWas to examine her
\nAnd name her.and \u201cBUNICA\u201d was her name
\nThe angel with the blue hair
\nWhich was her claim to fame<\/p>\n
Prepared she was for the surgery
\nAnd day two the biopsy done
\nThe removal of the tumour
\nA collar on she\u2019d won
\nAn \u201cUnder Construction\u201d collar
\nAnd by day seven we could see
\nTail wagging great big joyful eyes
\nLove and caringly
\nKisses love and more love.
\nBy Day 20 she was well
\nShy and very beautiful
\nBig brown eyes that spell
\nJoyfulness and fortune
\nEnthralled one has to be
\nFrom how she was when they found her
\nTo now unbelievably<\/p>\n
By Day 60 she was ready
\nFor adoption and we know
\nAll the work the angels do
\nAnd did and ofcourse the show
\nGoes on and on the rescues
\nAlmost every day
\nThese angels come in trucks and cars
\nAnd rescue that\u2019s their way.<\/p>\n
