There is a total lack of understanding
\nFor an animal that apparently
\nHas many traits yet when we farm them
\nWe neglect them and it\u2019s purposely
\nIn my mind this already is an arrogance
\nWhich we
\nUse against the porcine tribes
\nWhich for me is infamy
\nThey have a social order and a wildness
\nAnd intent
\nThey nest and live according to their
\nbirth right
\nAnd we have sent
\nTheir lifestyle into overdrive
\nFor our methodology
\nIs to imagine our concentration
\nCamps are for them just heavenly<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s known as pig farming
\nGestation crates and all
\nWe remove them from their free range
\nLives
\nFrom their wild effective stall
\nInto large groups of individuals
\nFed commercially
\nNo rooting nothing natural
\nJust insubstantiality
\nA meagreness a sparseness
\nEmpty spaces where
\nPrisoners crowd into spaces
\nDensity unfair
\nThe integrity of wholeness
\nWas simply filed away
\nFor what became the principle
\nOf making farming pay<\/p>\n
Repression and ostracism
\nthe Order of their day
\nWe offered them disharmony
\nAnd expected them to pay
\nIn themselves they are never slovenly
\nThey have order and they care
\nbut in our quest for profits
\nTheir lives are askew and unaware
\nLife becomes a sentence
\nPrisoners they be
\nHaving to acclimatise
\nTo non conformity
\nTo living in a filthy state
\nTo dumping where they stay
\nTo living on a concrete floor
\nWhich was never their way<\/p>\n
Remember they have no sweat glands
\nWe need to understand
\nWhen trying to manage other tribes
\nThat lives have to be planned
\nNot around our balance sheet
\nBut in accordance to
\nLife and natural living
\nIf we are being true
\nThis farm in Ballymena
\nWas established years ago
\nAnd has been in the same family
\nAnd has grown as figures show
\nBut what has been discovered

\nShudder at the thought
\nOf what\u2019s occurred there tragically.<\/p>\n
Neglect through inattention
\nAnd total disrespect
\nDisregard and thoughtlessness

\nUnobserved apparently
\nDespite the RED TRACTOR SIGN
\nUnnoticing and unhearing
\nAnd unmindful of the whine
\nThe soft cries of the weakening
\nThose being eaten by
\nThe stronger tougher resilient
\nWho do not want to die<\/p>\n
Cameras placed around the farm
\nCaught scenes of hell right there
\nCannibalism and victims screaming with despair
\nUnkempt and unprotected
\nWith evidence to see
\nBut where was the RED TRACTOR
\nand the management
\nAnd we
\nWho read these lines in horror
\nFaintheartedely to feel
\nUnconsenting of such evil
\nKnowing it is real
\nAnd every pig is a victim
\nAnd the crime in fact is ours
\nWe sat back and give credence
\nBy supporting these ghastly powers<\/p>\n
It\u2019s iniquitous and evil
\nIt\u2019s injuriousness and we
\nShould be ashamed what\u2019s going on
\nIt\u2019s an outrage actually
\nThey are sadly the voiceless
\nThey grunt and honk all day
\nBut nobody is listening
\nAs one by one they pay
\nImagine for a moment
\nBeing eaten as you are
\nEaten by a so called friend, or family member
\nFar
\nRemoved from social consequenc
\nThis a frightening scene
\nHell and human evils
\nWhich are surely obscene<\/p>\n
In pursuit of profit
\nAnd a margin so as to
\nSee a healthy balance sheet
\nAnd output rising through
\nStaff whoever they are
\nClearly blinded by
\nThe evils now before them
\nWhich I must thus ask why
\nIll health and disease
\nIs surely paramount and should
\nNot be allowed to deteriorate
\nHow could that be good
\nSpoiling and contamination
\nRegression and decline
\nAnd apparently it\u2019s standard
\nYes right down the line
\nThere\u2019s an absence of authority
\nPig eat pig affair
\nForgive me for the pun friends
\nThe management are they there
\nThe RED TRACTOR also unaware
\nThe order books them too
\nUnaware of the prisoners
\nAnd what they are going through<\/p>\n
Deprived of life
\nAnd living
\nBy avarice and greed
\nBy what appears the grasping uncaring
\nAnd where all this did lead
\nTo our instinctive state in chaos
\nIn trauma and in pain
\nWe pigs are being tortured
\nAnd driven insane
\nOur emotional life is over
\nIngrained in our soul
\nBeing eaten by our so called friends
\nLook at the size of the hole
\nIn my flank a bleeding
\nGnawed at every day
\nAnd not a sodding worker
\nEven cares along the way<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not that we are unconscious
\nOr unresponsive for We yell
\nWe grunt as loud as possible
\nWe know we live in hell
\nIt\u2019s just you all neglect us
\nExpect us to just be
\nReady to give up our souls
\nTo your severity
\nIt\u2019s harrowing it\u2019s awful
\nThere is no place to hide
\nThe crippled become victims
\nDowntrodden on the slide
\nDown into a purgatory
\nA care worn haggard place
\nWhere a business trading openly
\nIs a huge disgrace<\/p>\n
Over 100 years of history
\nIn the same family
\nAnd the innocent are calling out
\nRelief we need to see
\nClearly resignation
\nA hopelessness abroad
\nAnd what appears
\nIrreversible
\nTo our multitude of fears
\nThere just are no excuses
\nThis inexcusability
\nIt\u2019s wicked and it\u2019s altogether wrong

\nIt\u2019s all about contempt
\nAbout arrogance and evil too
\nGetting away with murder
\nThe improbity is sadly true<\/p>\n

\nWho has suffered
\nWho has seen so many die
\nWho has screamed to the high heavens
\nAsking our god why
