A gold and purple sunrise
\nPermitting of a scene
\nOut of some great classic novel
\nInstead across the green
\nForest where the river wye
\nIs angrily in flood
\nSavaging the rocks below
\nWhich invigorates the blood<\/p>\n
Imbolc we have reached that point
\nWith frost hung on the bough
\nWet and feeling feisty
\nAsking ourselves how
\nWe go about collecting
\nThe ewes milk rich with cream
\nAnd ensure our lambs are fortified
\nIn an ever flowing stream.<\/p>\n
Down into the earths bowels
\nThe caverns hewn from time
\nWhere iron has been extracted
\nWhere labourers would climb
\nTheir task to sweat and ponder
\nTo dig into the rock
\nIts here we have our ritual
