In pursuit of sanity
\nAbandoning the need
\nTo ever feel let down or sad
\nFor though my heart does bleed
\nMy soul mate she is with me
\nAlthough she chose to go
\nShe is with me every moment that I breathe
\nThat much I know<\/p>\n
I stay in touch
\nalthough she never ever replies to me<\/p>\n
It matters not
\nFor I am, in my own eternity
\nOne day I may not wake up
\nAnd be gone for evermore
\nBut before that time
\nI hold her close for her knowledge
\nI adore<\/p>\n
I truthfully do miss her
\nHer warm breath and her soul
\nHer raven locks her fancy socks
\nI am spellbound for my role
\nIs truly just to contemplate
\nHer magick and her way
\nMy oxygen my water source
\nIt\u2019s what gets me through
\nEach day<\/p>\n
I dare not say it\u2019s easy
\nFor there are days when I feel
\nVery alone and very sad
\nThen again for real
\nI have her fixed inside of me
\nAnd I just recall the times
\nWhen I wrote a book of poems for her
\nYes all of those times<\/p>\n
Are with me they can never leave me
\nIntermittently 9 months have passed
\nHow many babies born since seemingly
\nEnjoying new life certainly millions
\nOf little stars
\nAnd I must stay alone forever
\nWith of course the scars
\nI brought upon myself I know
\nBut I never can forget
\nHow much I care for her flaxen hair
\nAnd the fact that she ever let<\/p>\n
Me be her friend
