\nThat feeling of willingness to please
\nThrown back really in one\u2019s face
\nA despairing tease
\nInflicting, such heartache
\nFor a martyr in distress
\nAn ordeal of infliction
\nAnd a torment giving stress
\nWhat is residual misery

\nHow can a spirit climb to heights

\nOf displeasure cutting through
\nHow indisposed and downtrodden

Want to overwhelm my self

\nCondemned to obvious slavery
\nMy willingness denied
\nSick-at-heart and at this point
\nI writhe in my own pain
\nThe chafing irritation
\nThe injurious refrain
\nInside of me the vile disquiet
\nHis savagery of mind
\nThe fact he never cared a jot
\nHe looked at me as blind
\nHe wanted to maltreat me
\nDefeated possibly
\nDespite all my endeavour

\nAn investment into pleasing

MAn unkind has always been
\nA low life to be sure
\nHe sets out to break our spirit
\nIt was for him a war
\nOf importune diminishment
\nOf abuse because he knew
