My pain has been massive
\nBut I have had my musings
\ncampaigning and blogging
\nand fighting each cause
\nA lone figure jogging
\nDown dark country roads
\nOver mountainous passes now
\nNot wearing my glasses
\nI stumbled And fell
\nNobody to help me
\nTo pick me up dust me off
\nNo one at all
\nIt was as if my Hell
\nWas just of my making
\nWith so much love in me
\nIt just felt so wrong
\nAnd now I am weaker
\nAnd older And suffering
\nLeft with uncertainty
\nYes all along<\/p>\n
Its my obscurity
\nUnsure and doubtful
\nOf where I should be
\nI lost my soul mate
\nand that really got to me
\nI have been struggling
\nFighting to free
\nMyself of what held me back
\nTook me to dark corners
\nSo many tears falling
\nEveryday
\nThen I found some light
\nIn the shape of a doctor
\nA lady who I felt helped me
\nShe saw
\nThe pain I was suffering
\nThe x rays they told her
\nBut despite her overload
\nDidn\u2019t ignore<\/p>\n
Me I did feel cared for
\nTruly respected
\nNot just that nuisance
\nWhose gait was so slow
\nWho moaned when he walked
\nClearly
\n suffering greatly
\nShe kind of lifted my spirit
\nYou know<\/p>\n
Restored some faith
\nIn the way I was feeling
\nShe understood what I was going through
\nAnd that really helped me to
\nFight off the demons
\nTo take on the world
\nWith its pain good and true
\nWith Yule in the offing
\nI wanted to thank you
\nYour kindness and thoughts
\nI appreciate and
\nYou have been supporting me
\nAnd I am grateful
