We are witness to the ancientness
\nThat encompasses the soul
\nThe unique hues of Autumns past
\nJust memories that roll
\nForward like the passing clouds
\nLess colourful its true
\nA mantle of slate grey above
\nFor Winters here and we all do
\nFeel the sodden ground beneath our feet
\nThe frosty air
\nOur priestly caste
\nAs winters blast
\nOur druidry we share<\/p>\n
The golden light of mistletoe
\nThe vermillion berries red
\nThe palest green of ivy
\nWe see it overhead
\nWe are living with the remote past
\nOn megalithic stone we feed
\nLife forever sacred
\nHeaven is the earths great deed<\/p>\n
Cyclical its endlessly
\nTurning the great wheel
\nDeath regeneration and re birth
\nIts all for real
\nThe sun ofcourse the life force
\nThe human cycle we
\nWholesome as the day is long
\nOnto eternity<\/p>\n
Here in this stone henge ritual
\nThe ancestral spirits rise
\nEndowed with all the energy
\nComing from the skies
\nAcross a sacred landscape the sanctity is
\nwhere
\nAll the precious geomancy
\nOf it please be
\naware<\/p>\n
Feel the joy of gathering
\nThe warmth of being here
\nOf holding to the future
\nWhilst standing where its clear
\nAncestors have stood before us
\nHave fallen and with grace
\nCome and join our fellowship
\nTogether as we face<\/p>\n
Each other theres a reverence
\nFor this great earth
\nWe share
\nThe love for a
\nOne another
\nOfcourse all of us care
\nWe breathe and stand together
\nAs druids we all know
\nLike bold enobled groves of stalwart trees
\nWe know we glow<\/p>\n
Rising like a heavenly mist out into beyond
\nFreeing the immortal
\nAnd sharing of our bond
\nGrounded in the physical
\nEnduring every way
\nthe love of one another
\nAnd the world at large
