\nCrisp and white
\nSees consternation play

\nSpectacular and observing

\nThey gasp they gawk they scream
\nThere is a nobility
\nAnd unbroken line would seem
\nA dynasty of warriors
\nAmongst the flighted ones
\nChivalrous in battle

Elevated and haughty
\nUpstaging everywhere
\nFull of self importance
\nA cockiness all share
\nPuffery and bluster
\nThe gothic crows have that
\nSwagger prance and glory
\nThis is where they are at<\/p>\n
An audacity and brashness
\nAn impertinence next to boot
\nThey will come and pinch your vitals
\nSassiness to suit
\nArrogant and cheeky
\nFrightening in their way
\nGet a Murder of them
\nA reunion some say<\/p>\n
They do create commotion
\nAnd their blackness causes fright
\nTheir talons and their beaks
\nCould give a frightening bite
\nThey come with quite a story
\nShape shifting shadows sense
\nA great embrace of magick
\nAnd a bountiful defence<\/p>\n
Up in the trees
\nOr on the henge
\nTheir beady eyes are clear
\nOften seen as villains
\nAnd thus expressing fear
\nTo those of us who come upon
\nA murder of them where
\nThe forest darkens suddenly
\nAnd causes us despair<\/p>\n
A rapture of emotions
\nChampions you see
\nAdulation raucous
\nA true idolatry
\nBinge eating they are good for that
\nWhen they get the chance
\nThey wallow in indulgence
\nAnd insatiable romance<\/p>\n
The gothic crows
\nAre ready
\nAt Yule they will come by
\nOver stone henge
\nInterested in the rituals
\nThat apply
\nThe Druids in their many robes
\nFrom the sarsons they
\nNote the rhymes and revelations
\nAnd then carry away<\/p>\n
The philosophy of the corvidea
\nSpells on ancient times
\nAs brethren they are capable
\nAnd as the great bell chimes
\nOut across the frosty moors
\nWhere the ungodly be
\nThe wonder working covens
\nAs soothsayers they see<\/p>\n
Sorcery and secret arts
\nAn investment in their soul
\nsurveyors of the circle
\nCertain their control
\nA certain recognition
\nOf the ancient realms in which
\nTheir engagement and commitment
