Despite our glorious stature
\nOur powerful constancy
\nSome men believe they have the upper hand

Every single movement
\nCan get a whipping hand
\nA stabbing knife
\nSuch vile abuse
\nIt\u2019s something we can\u2019t stand<\/p>\n
Anarkali she\u2019s taken many a slashing

\nDeserves respect all can detect
\nThe solid injury
\nThe festival of Nepal
\nThe visitors who come
\nWho want to ride us elephants
\nPut their sweaty bum<\/p>\n
Across us, human beings
\nStink I have to say
\nThe stench of evil exudes from them
\nAnd we smell it everyday
\nBeing in a park where there\u2019s no discipline
\nAt all
\nWhere anyone can ride on us
\nIt really does appeal
\nOur legs and feet were never made
\nTo do this kind of stint
\nAnd humans beings
\nTruthfully are so very skint<\/p>\n
In rewarding us
\nWith incentives for good behaviour we
\nGet punishment after punishment
\nChastisement constantly
\nCastigation
\n daily
\nNo judgement none at all
\nhammered just for breathing
\nUp against the wall<\/p>\n
These kinds of parks should be closed down
\nLet elephants feel free
\nLet them remain honourable
\nReally that\u2019s the key
\nThe beatings and the patience
\nAnd why most want to die
\nThese parks are vile and darkly
\nFor elephants we find
\nSuffering is hourly
\nFor our bodies and our mind<\/p>\n
Mahouts who should know better
\nAre as arrogant as they
\nUnworthy to be keepers
\nChained up and made to pay
\nAnd once day we all snap we do
\nLike Tyke did snapped and broke
\nGunned down in a hail of steel
