A really sorry state of affairs
\n4 puppies on a heap
\nConcealed in tar
\nStuck fast they are
\nClearly they did reap
\nA whirlwind of emotions
\nA fetid sticky ooze
\nThat spread around
\nAnd captured them
\nWhich must have been
\nBad news<\/p>\n
Four little souls
\nLay frightened
\nWhimpering away
\nFor them the curiosity
\nOn that given day
\nA rubbish heap
\nPiled with builders tins
\nAnd straw and wood
\nThe four
\nAll caught up in stick tar
\nThat had hardened
\nMore and more<\/p>\n
It is hard to stay positive
\nAnd clear these souls they
\nJust hoped to god
\nSomeone would find them
\nBefore they passed Way
\nThe street angels were notified
\nAnd came to see them, they
\nBrought some vegetable oil
\nAnd blankets
\nTo soften the tar
\nThey say<\/p>\n
That is the easiest option
\nFreeing them from the mess
\nTook them back to hospital
\nHoping to ease their stress
\nPicking off the lumps of tar
\nClearly the puppies were
\nFrightened all out of their wits
\nAt what did now occur<\/p>\n
A team were carefully softening
\nRubbing and cleaning away
\nTar that had got onto their heads
\nAnd into their eyes
\nThe day
\nThe angels came to rescue them
\nEach being cuddled and shown
\nWashing away the tar and dirt
\nMore than any had known<\/p>\n
In a bowl of warm soapy water
\nFeeding them everything stuck
\nIt took many hours to free them
\nAs sad as it was it was luck
\nThat they had been found
\nAnd treatment
\nWas happening right away
\nFor three days the pups
\nWere repeatedly washed and
\nLoved with the warm soapy spray<\/p>\n
Dried cared for cuddled
\nThey soon found their hearts
\nBeginning to play up
\nAs they
\nMet with their mother
\nWho gave them some milk
\nWhich is then when
\nThey wanted to play<\/p>\n
Health comes back rapidly
\nConfidence grew
\nThe angels were with them
\nHope clearly true
\nIt wasn\u2019t much longer
\nAnd all of them they
\nWere back in fine fettle
\nAnd wanting to play<\/p>\n
Four little puppies
\nFull of energy
\nA tired and weak mother
\nThough clearly was key
\nTo the puppies improvement
\nAnd the angels as well
\nPlayed with the puppies
\nRelieved that their hell<\/p>\n
Was gone they were happy
\nAs sand boys for sure
\nBouncing around the yard
\nBarking and more
\nHeartened and buoyed up
\nAnd no longer sore
\nVery impressionable
\nClearly they all
\nBlessed by the angels
\nHad answered the call
\nYouthful high spirits
\nAnd vitality
\n\u201cJEENA\u201d and \u201cPRIYA\u201d
