In Minnesota there is a fox angel
\nA rescuer a kindly caring soul
\nFrom Pet owners and the Fur Trade
\nIt\u2019s where this lass does operate
\nWildness clearly has a wondrous role
\nToo many people imagine that the wild fox
\nIs like a dog and err because of that
\nFoxes really are extremely sensitive and wily
\nShy and nervous creatures and are at
\nA pinnacle because of being ready
\nThat wildness being closer than we know
\nTheir instinctive appreciation
\nOf the wildness in their soul
\nIt\u2019s ingrained in their spirit
\nAnd state of mind
\nPet owners just imagine they can cope
\nBut find they can\u2019t
\nAnd Mikayla thankfully
\nIs who they find<\/p>\n
Foxes in the fur trade
\nProvide coats and jackets they
\nBoa\u2019s too but then we do
\nNeed to save their day
\nNeed to realise that the created forces
\nTry
\nTo protect their wildness constantly
\nAnd why is it they should die<\/p>\n
For fashion it has always been
\nAn insulting thing to do
\nFor me it\u2019s never modish
\nChic or even true
\nIt\u2019s cruel and vile
\nAnd human beings
\nNeed to realise
\nSkins are never beautiful
\nIf the animal then dies<\/p>\n
Her farm is attractive
\nHer foxes clearly are
\nHappy with their outcome
\nEach one of them a star
\nWhen she comes to see them
\nTheir squealing joyful voices
\nAre evident they care about
\nHer and all their choices<\/p>\n
They are sort of wild
\nSome in cages a sort of zoo
\nI always think it sad
\nThe wilderness gives up a few
\nWild ones and they come to be
\nA feature let us say
\nAlive and well and for a spell
\nLive another way<\/p>\n
Every fox that\u2019s rescued
\nAnd saved from the fur trade
\nIs wonderful and in a sense
\nThose people who parade
\nAlong the streets in fox fur
\nAre guilty every one
\nOf murdering and torturing
