There he was upon the wall
\nBloodied and alone
\nOne of his legs was lacerated
\nRight down to the bone
\nClearly he was suffering
\nPoor boy thats for sure
\nThe remedy of love and care
\nNo soul should ignore<\/p>\n
Lots of children apparently
\nHad called the angels who
\nRealised a net would be
\nThe best way and it was true
\n“Almond” he was feisty
\nDespite his laceration
\nRan away immediately
\nUnsure of his salvation<\/p>\n
They helped us catch him
\nAnd take him back to hospital
\nAnd where
\nThe wound was clearly recent
\nWe shaved away the hair
\nWe sedated him
\nAnd stitched him up
\nso fortunate to have found
\nHim before infection spread
\nFrom the dirty ground<\/p>\n
he wouldnt eat for quite a while
\nBut gradually he felt
\nSafe with all the love around
\nOur lady angels dealt
\nHim time and care and love
\nAnd hope
\nAnd gradually he came
\nAround and began eating
\nHe was clearly game<\/p>\n
To try the food in his weakened state
\nwith cuddles and with care
\nWe have a lot of lady angels
\nReady and they share
\nKisses cuddles helping victims
\nCome back to the fold
\nBeing lonely in the streets
\nWhere tradesman just may scold
\nRun you off and chuck bricks at you
\nLife is rotten there
\nSo to come against the angels
\nit takes time and lots of care<\/p>\n
“Almond” got well slowly
\nAnd clearly had much joy
\nHe ran about and loved his cuddles
\nHe was a lovely boy
\nSenselessly abandoned
\nHis head done in for sure
\nBut brought back
\nTo the real world
