All scrunched up on the pavement
\nIn a pool of her own blood
\nOozing from her nose and mouth
\nUnconscious in a flood
\nOf suffering and savagery
\nA bitch she lay alone
\nAnimalaid unlimited
\nAnd The angels came, who roam
\nThe streets of Rajastan each day
\nLooking for victims, and she
\nWas one such soul all battered
\nBy life’s adversity<\/p>\n
They took her in a blanket
\nBack to hospital where she
\nWas examinaed
\nShe was whining and sobbing
\nConstantly
\nLife had robbed her of the joys
\nAbandoned to the street
\nShe was put on IV fluids to help to
\nCompete
\nPainkillers administered
\nBy day five she did try
\nand eat a little food
\nThank goodness
\nWhich was the reason why<\/p>\n
From that day on
\nShe rallied
\nBy day 15 she did try
\nAnd walk although she wobbled
\nBut gradually did defy
\nHer senses and the injuries
\nAnd walked and wagged her tail
\n“Whisper” was a fighter
\nAnd through recovery did sail<\/p>\n
Her hazel eyes deep set and
\nClear
\nHer gentle pixie gaze
\nShe had come back from the other side
\nInto a living phase
\nA gentle loving lady
\nWho needed the love and care
\nAnd responsed to the hugs and kisses
