Called to some waste ground
\nWhere rubbish was thrown
\nA drum containing tar
\nAnd a dog there alone
\nClearly was foraging
\nLooking for food
\nAnd got stuck in the tar
\nImagine how crude
\nSome people are leaving tar
\nEverywhere
\nAnd this poor bitch was hungry
\nAnd close to despair
\nGot caught in the trap
\nAnd was there a long time
\nThe blackness like glue
\nVile smelly slime<\/p>\n
So many ignorant people
\nI shout
\nWho leave filthy drums
\nJust lying about
\nPhilistines actually
\nUninformed fools
\nfly tipping anywhere
\nAgainst all the rules
\nNo matter they dump
\nIt just anywhere
\nAnd animals suffer
\nA lot of despair<\/p>\n
She couldn\u2019t back out
\nNor move At All
\nShe crawled in and was stuck
\nCouldn\u2019t even call
\nHer tail hanging out
\nThere she would die
\nIf nobody saw her
\nOr even came by<\/p>\n

\nWere called and they came
\nTo take her away
\nThey could not remove her
\nSafely and so
\nThey took the container
\nToo and did go<\/p>\n
Back at the hospital
\nUsing vegetable oil
\n6 of them took three hours
\nOf toil
\nGently massaging and cutting
\nand cleaning and aiding
\nHer eyes were awake
\nBut her hope it was fading<\/p>\n
Giving her water to lap
\nNo doubt she
\nWas reviving, their soft hands
\nHelping to free
\nHer hair from the tar
\nand her body as well
\nA great deal of care
\nShe had been close to Hell
\nBut now was relieved
\nTo be free from the tar
\nAnd could stand up
\nAnd see and become their star<\/p>\n
How brave she was sweet
\nLittle “Asha” for she
\nWas called “Asha”thats hope
\nInfact in Hindi
\nAll of the angels there
\nLoved the sweet soul
\nWho had been close to dying
\nBut now had a role
\nTo play the experience
\nShe’d undergone
\nHow she did lament
\nAnd it went on and on
\nPoor little “Asha”
\nHer place in th sun
\nWhat Animal aid Unlimited
