\nAdvised us that there
\nWas dog in the street
\nLooking poorly
\nAware
\nof some sort of swelling
\nWe went for to see
\nAnd sure enough
\nHe took biscuits
\nBut was drooling
\nFor he
\nWas in pain
\nThat was obvious
\nAnd all alone
\nAnd love and care
\nClearly nothing he\u2019d known<\/p>\n
His tail though was wagging
\nBut he just ran away
\nHe came back he was friendly
\nAte a few biscuits
\nBut fear took him away
\nHe wouldn\u2019t just come with us
\nA net the idea
\nSo we got him and
\nHelped him
\nTo over come fear<\/p>\n
Rode with him
\nIn the ambulance
\nGiving him care
\nHe was clearly in pain
\nBut very aware
\nWhen we got back
\nHe was prepared
\nOur vet she sedated him
\nFor he was scared
\nAnd then he was cleaned
\nShaved and we saw
\nA very big abscess
\nHis pain must have been raw
\nMade an incision
\nAnd the pus and the blood
\nA mini river
\nA perfect flood
\nCleaned out the wound
\nA drainage vent
\nSutured the wound
\nAnd then for days spent
\nCleaning and dressing
\nAfter a month he was looking and feeling
\nBetter than ever
\nHis demeanour revealing
\nHow much he loved being
\nCuddled his joy
\nWas just unbelievable
