We received a call from the
\nCity dump
\nHigh up on the hill
\nOverlooking Rajastan
\nNot the greatest thrill<\/p>\n
To go up there and realise
\nThat a particular cow
\nWas sifting through the
\nRubbish and did appear somehow
\nTo have a rope around it\u2019s neck
\nWhich was far too tightly strung
\nAnd clearly the cow was suffering
\nAnd from time to time had hung
\nHer head down clearly suffering
\nWhich Could be attributed to
\nWhat appeared gross negligence
\nAnd What we had to do
\nWas To find the beast and help her
\nAnd this is what did
\nIt took four hours to catch up
\nWith her
\nSo we could help her rid
\nHerself of what looked terrible
\nBringing her back we found
\nThe rope had caused a ghastly wound
\nFor she had been badly bound
\nThe wound was deep and ugly
\nMaggots were everywhere
\nWe Applied some maggot powder
\nAfter shaving off her hair<\/p>\n
The wound was dressed
\nAnd in an hour or two
\nWe cleaned the wound
\nAnd she
\nwas bandaged up again
\nAnd left to rest
\nSo we could see<\/p>\n
The next day we removed the dressings
\nAnd cleaned her yet again
\nAnd carried out the treatment
\nFor four weeks and did attain
\nA healing
\nIt is wonderful how given time and care
\nLoving cuddling sharing
\nHow animals are Aware
\nAnd do respond to treatment
\nFor This was a nasty case
\nBut the time spent was all worth it
\nAnd you should see her face<\/p>\n
