When Ben came in
\nHe was in a cage
\nCouldn\u2019t walk
\nHard to gauge
\nAny movement
\nHe did cry
\nAnd Fairly soon

Left outside in the street
\nReally all that dust and heat
\nAll those injuries
\nAll that time
\nBlood and fester
\nThus this rhyme
\nAnimal aid Unlimited came
\nTo be the angels

Ben was injured very badly
\nThe wire had cut into him sadly
\nThrough his hind quarters did go

\nLots of blood and gore we saw
\nAnd one muscle had grown even more
\nHe was almost cut in two
\nSo much pain poor boy the view

\nPut the dressings on in case
\nWatch him begin to run about
\nWag his tail be in no doubt
