Hit by train
\nA terrible shock
\nTrauma apparent
\nA horrible knock
\nAn injured head
\nAn injured lung
\nCrawling into the scrub
\nAnd just lay among<\/p>\n
The weeds and stones
\nAround the track
\nAwaiting death
\nThere seemed no way back
\nObserving the soulful
\nFeeling his pain
\nBrought tears to our eyes
\nAgain and again<\/p>\n
Rogues and larrikins
\nSeemingly
\nSaw and added
\nTo his purgatory
\nKicked the dust
\nAnd left him be
\nIn every sense
\nIn agony<\/p>\n
At last an angel
\nCame along
\nWith a blanket
\nClearly far from wrong
\nThe hospital was then to where
\nNemo was taken
\nFor extra care<\/p>\n
A filthy state
\nAn ugly scar
\nHis mouth was bleeding
\nReally we are
\nHumbled by actually what we see
\nAnd how this soul
\nHas had to be<\/p>\n
Suffering for who knows how long
\nBreathing difficulties
\nFar from strong
\nWashed and shaved
\nSedated too
\nA chest tube was the op to do<\/p>\n
Sutured his gums
\nClearly sore
\nSo much pain
\nSo much gore
\nBut out of it sadly
\nThe shock and awe
\nScant respect
\nReceived before<\/p>\n
Very courageous
\nDespite the pain
\nAnd the neglect
\nSo little to gain
\nBut slowly we see
\nWith love and care
\nHow miracles we all can share<\/p>\n
Kisses tail wagging
\nCircling he
\nGet kisses from girls and boys
\nHe be getting better
\nFeeling well
\nHeaven is now
\nBefore was hell<\/p>\n
Animal aid unlimited they
\nHave all the hours in
\nEvery day to give to share to love to be
\nCreating their miracles
\nevidently<\/p>\n
No holds back
\nEach to his own
\nCuddles and kisses
\nAll home grown
\nWhat we see
\nIs veneration
