Little Leo alone in a gutter
\nHe lay
\nIn Rajasthan all of the day
\nHis head in the water
\nTo weak to move
\nClearly very sick
\nAnd not in the groove<\/p>\n
Animal aid unlimited came
\nPut him in a blanket
\nHis inner flame
\nExtinguished alas
\nSo weakly was he
\nHe slept for three days
\nClearly, rest was a key<\/p>\n
Factor for him
\nNo wounds none at all
\nHis head though was numbed
\nPerhaps in a fall
\nGave him IV fluids
\nAnd medicines to
\nHelp to stabilise
\nIt was their view<\/p>\n
He then had a seizure
\nAnd began to fall
\ncircling all the time
\nJust like a wall
\nRestricted his movement
\nAgain what they do
\nCuddle and lay him
\nAnd of course it rings true<\/p>\n
People here care
\nThey love him to bits
\nThey cage him a while
\nAnd watch his fits
\nFeed him water him
\nPat him and say
\nYou will walk again
\nat the end of the day<\/p>\n
And he did and he walks
\nAnd, now he plays
\nBack to his old self
\nHe wants to amaze
\nThe carers the angels
\nAll of his kin.
\nHe has recovered well
\nBut still is too thin<\/p>\n
Already improving
\nAnd putting on weight
\nResting and sleeping
\nAnd just feeling great
\nHe suffered such trauma
\nAnd pulled through it all
\nTail wagging happy
\nAnd comes when they call<\/p>\n
