Imagine a mosquito mother
\nshe risks life and death
\neach time she bites
\nshe sees you from 100 feet
\nher often sleepless nights
\nfinding a good donor
\nwho is sleeping hopefully
\nand not stuck in an air con bubble
\nwhich deters her, she
\nneeds the protein in the blood
\nto give life to her young
\nshe could be squashed
\nshe could be coshed
\ntruthfully she’s among
\nthe most caring of mothers
\nfor life and death means she
\nmay not get to her tender brood
\nif killed regrettably<\/p>\n
as for mosquito fathers
\nvegan through and through
\nneither parent is a vampire
\nwhat the mothers do
\nand as such mosquito fathers
\ndo not bite you, at all
\nthey might be squashed or sprayed to death
\nwhilst resting on your wall
\nbut they will never bite you
\nits only mums that do
\nso when we fog an area
\nwe kill the fathers too
\nthey sacrifice their bodies
\nhopefully to try
\nand save more of the babies
