Nobody wants me
\nthat’s what we say
\nbut really and honestly
\nDo dogs feel this way?
\nlamenting that humans
\ndon’t have the same thought
\nremember the wolves
\nthe love that is caught
\nup in a pack,so evidenced by
\ntheir very survival
\nsometimes, I sigh<\/p>\n
at why we put out
\nhuman messages for
\nanimal earthlings
\nI’m not very sure
\nwe’re appealing to humans
\noh yes that is true
\nbut poor little strays
\nI think what they do
\nis not expect much
\nand if it comes through
\nthen clearly they’re
\nhappy
\nhere thats my view<\/p>\n
how many animals in this
\nold world
\nget love and know how love
\ncan kind of be hurled
\nin every direction
\nabuse too can be
\nno sentient being wants
\nlove less its free
\nand if it means
\nlying under some tree
\nor under some floorboards
\nvery lonely
\nat least no abuse
\nis coming your way
\nand hope springs eternal
\nthat love will one day
\ncome in a parcel
\nwith so much true joy
\nwhen some one says
\ncome on
