Down is never Up
\nexcept up, right in our face
\nits feathers from our bird friends
\nand the way its done thats a disgrace
\na disgrace for all humanity
\nfor its living birds, who find
\ntheir turned upside down
\nby piece workers and its torn out
\nmy mind
\njust writing this, is hurting
\nimagine those poor souls
\nupside down, grabbed clumsily
\nand without due controls<\/p>\n
hand fulls of your feathers or
\nhair is ripped out and
\nthe skin if torn is sewn up
\nneedle and thread yes do understand
\nno pain killing injections
\nno seamstress, just some git
\nwho has caused this awful injury and
\ndoesn’t care a sh*t!<\/p>\n
if it says down on the label
\nbe uppity, I say
\nthat’s stolen from live birds!live birds!
\nnow what do you say?
\nripped off their shivering bodies
\ncrying, sobbing, so
\nby people paid by the amount of down
\nthey steal
\nand, they know!<\/p>\n
The goose or Duck
\nran out of luck
\nwhen it was bloody born
\nit could be kept in great huge sheds
\nno water, yea I warn
\nyou, its getting graphic
\nbut their poor lives are too
\nwe make their pain unbearable
\nby what we’re going to do
\nright now its foie gras prison
\na place thought up in Hell
\nby Satan and his nasty farmers
\nwho thought they could swell
\nthe soulful ones
\nby feeding or gavage which just
\nmeans they
\nforce feed them with a dirty tube
\nrammed down their throats each day
\nits tears the mucus membranes
\nit makes them choke like mad
\nit makes them vomit blood
\nand feel so very bad
\nit gradually makes their livers swell
\nwith fat, at such a rate
\nit gives them, the vilest colic
\nhow do we create?
\nsuch vile ideas
\nwhat, kind of mind
\nfigures out that we
\nhave the right to torture birds
\nwith such barbarity
\nSo we took their down already
\nthe agony and pain
\nthe feeling, they have feelings too
\nand, emotional, strain
\nand so
\nnow to the foie gras farm
\nand experience this low<\/p>\n
it must leave them in a state of how
\nthey came to walk their way
\nif there was a God
\nhow comes he watched
\nmen, act in this way
\ntheir liver so distended
\ntheir stomachs shot away
\ntheir throats a bleeding painfully
\nthat is
\npurest dismay
\ndown and foie gras, are evil
\nif you ever find, someone
\nwho has either tell them, plead
\nwith them
