\nAnd 6 whole years of pain
\nExperimentation the evils
\nJust for human gain
\nAnd contractual leverage
\nIn the market place
\nNo reason here

\nenslave them both
\nAnd fill their lives with fear<\/p>\n
Wrongness so much of it
\nEach and everyday
\nUnjustifiablity
\nThere just never was a way
\nTo treat these two so sensitive
\nIndividuals they
\nWere wilfully neglected
\nAnd just so made to pay<\/p>\n
Locked up hardly able
\nTo move about at all
\nEncased in torture equipment
\nThe irreverence did appal
\nIt\u2019s hard to really quantify
\nThe suffering they felt
\nFor them though it was obvious
\nThe bad cards they were dealt<\/p>\n
Then one day that was over
\nA friendly soul they met
\nA lady known as Linda Koebner
\nWho helped to share the debt
\nThe horror all those nightmares
\nShe seemed to Comprehend
\nShe just spent many hours with them
\nAnd their freedom did defend<\/p>\n
The adversity of living
\nThe circumstances she
\nTook it on herself to share
\nAnd to feel their misery
\nTo help them with it
\nHelp them love them every day
\nGive them back the confidence
\nThat the six years took away<\/p>\n
It was never easy
\nTheir association though
\nWas give and take
\nHearts do break
\nThey all do as we know
\nBut she convinced their spirit
\nA whisperer she was
\nShe was going to be there for them
\nReally just because<\/p>\n
She knew what they had gone through
\nThe freedom stolen fast
\nThe torture and the cruelty
\nShe really was aghast
\nAnd wanted to impress upon them
\nLove was going to be
\nThe outcome if they trusted her
\nreciprocity<\/p>\n
A mutual bond in many ways
\nA kind of honeymoon
\nThey could be the best of friends
\nIn harmony in tune
\nWith the natural world around them
\nIn what was a sanctuary
\nLife would just be honest
\nAnd they would both be free<\/p>\n
In this world nothing\u2019s easy
\nBut gradually they were
\nCloser in their thinking
\nWhich for all was the spur
\nThe adjustment in their thinking
\nTheir conscientious way
\nThis lady wasn\u2019t like the rest
\nAnd they loved her more each day<\/p>\n
They were released back to the wild
\nTo a sanctuary where they
\nCould be rewarded could live their lives out
\nAnd for 18 years she stayed away
\nLife is like that then one day
\nShe wanted to go back
\nWarned about the dangers
\nThat they could just attack<\/p>\n
She was ready just to see them
\nTo call them when she\u2019d know
\nShe had tuned into their consciousness
\nAnd felt that she could show
\nTheir incorruptibility
\nFaultless to a tee
\nShe was confident around them
\nAnd when their eyes did see<\/p>\n
Her they came towards her
\nWide eyed knowing they
\nKnew her yes their human friend
\nWhose integrity had been way
\nabove all of the others
\nTheir friend from long ago
\nThey smiled at her and hugged her
\nAnd then the world could know<\/p>\n
On the side of the angels
\nSeraphic in a way
\nTheir love for her was everything
\nHer love for them did play
\nHeavy in their hearts
\nThe 18 years a long long time
\nAnd really in the scheme of things
