My name in fact is Trooper
\nI’m 5 months to the day
\nwhen I was born
\nsomebody then
\njust took me away
\nfrom my mum and I went to some
\nyoung whipper snapper who
\ndidn’t really care for me
\nlike my mother use to do<\/p>\n
finally, he tied me
\nto someone else’s truck
\nwho didn’t know about it
\nand of course that was bad luck
\nfor I was dragged for some 2 miles
\nbobbing here and there
\nmy face, my ears, my shoulders
\nwere scraped and burned of hair<\/p>\n
all my legs were damaged
\none was very bad
\nthey think they now might cut it off
\nand of course that would be sad
\nthe fear in me was terrible
\nas I was dragged along
\nif the truck was not alerted I’d have
\ndied before too long<\/p>\n
the evil and the wickedness to do this
\nthing to me
\nI am just a baby dog
\nan innocent puppy
\nI never have done anything wrong
\nand truly wonder why
\nthis kid who owned me did this thing
\nhoping I would die<\/p>\n
and he would be rid of me
\nbut in a nutshell why?
\nwould anybody have a dog
\nand then want to see it die
\nits terrible for me to think
\nthat someone thought me vile
\nand decided they would kill me
\nand do it in this style<\/p>\n
of course the perpetrators are being
\nlooked for how
\nbut I am sure he’s scarpered, and they’ll
\nnever find him now
\nmy hope is that some angel
\nwill take me in and care
\nsomeone will take pity
