To be grudging and unwilling
\nAre human traits and we
\nWho serve the tourists in hot countries
\nReally need to be
\nAmenable to assist them
\nAnd show kindness where we can
\nOur refusal to look after
\nOur animals a man
\nExpecting in hot temperatures
\nFor camels and horses to
\nPull tourists up real steep slopes
\nand donkeys to the fear
\nOf neglecting them so seeing them
\nUncared for and looking sick
\nWith sores and lacerations
\nWhy would we then pick<\/p>\n
Clearly unhealthy animals
\nAbused in every way
\nAnd know now that they are beaten
\nAnd some are starved each day
\nNot given anough water
\nWork until they drop
\nFoaming at the mouth some of them
\nYour right it has to stop<\/p>\n
People should be acting
\nIn a more responsible way
\nCamels afterall
\nLabouring in the sun
\nAll day
\nAnd not given water
\nOr even a rest
\nAnd are beaten when they cannot walk
\nTourists it should detest
\nIt is utterly galling
\nAnd there is no excuse
\nWhy is it when on holiday
\nWe are party to abuse<\/p>\n
The markets out at Birgash
\nHave camels being sold
\nMany on their last legs
\nAnd then are expected to hold
\nPassengers many more
\nThan the fittest could ever do
\nAs tourists many of us
\nAre complacent sadly its true<\/p>\n
The poor old working animals
\nThey just lack any care
\nInsouciance the operative
\nOf course it isnt fair<\/p>\n
To be this unresponsive
\nWhilst animals suffer pain
\nNose bleeds covered in whipping scars
\nWe too are insane
\nFor not reporting what we see
\nour eyes closed As they fall
\nHorses donkeys camels
