\nThousands of Cape Fur Seals are born

\nNutrient rich waters beyond
\nThe Natural world accounts for
\nThis huge berthing event
\nCreation and production
\nIs truthfully heaven sent<\/p>\n
Historically at Henties Bay
\nIn 1486
\nthe explorer Diego Cao
\nPlanted a cross
\nTo respect the King of Portugal
\nAnd now we feel the loss
\nOf up to 80,000 babies
\nBludgeoned to their death
\nBy uneducated impoverished yobs
\nWith spiked clubs and as their breath
\nLeaves the babes they scream and mew
\nAnd vomit milk and blood
\nAnd the battlefield a Nature Reserve
\nResounds to the constant thud

\nBlack backed jackals
\nAnd brown Hyena\u2019s after a quick meal
\nSeal mothers have their work cut out
\nPredation here is real<\/p>\n
Up to 30 per cent will die
\nBut it\u2019s all under control
\nNature writes her blue print
\nShe operates with soul
\nIt\u2019s attested and it\u2019s genuine
\nIn this natural sea reserve
\nAnd tourists come to view the seals
\nAnd the government has the nerve
\nTo advertise and tax the tourists
\nBut when the time is right
\nThe tourists are told To stay away
\nWhich is when we see the fight<\/p>\n
That\u2019s when the killing spree
\nBegins
\nan awful clubbing war
\nBabies with their heads bashed in
\nWrithing in the gore
\nIt\u2019s hell on earth a battlefield
\nOf sophistry and pain
\nCausing such disharmony
\nSuch tension and disdain<\/p>\n
And why do you think they are doing it
\nIt\u2019s money for the boy
\nThe Egyptian seal king
\nHatem Yavuz who derives

\nFrom murdering the babies
\nHis exclusivity
\nVery much sought after
\nBy the ignorant
\nWho be

\nAnd as for baby seals
\nHe certainly doesn\u2019t have sleepless nights
\nAnd the business appeals<\/p>\n
Countries though prepared to sell
\nWhat is their gifted souls
\nAnd do it just for money
\nRather misguided goals
\nThat is my contention
\nExchanging life for death
\nPeace for bellicosity
\nToxins for true breath<\/p>\n
Creating such adversity
\nSuch hardship and travail
\nIt\u2019s miserable and stricken
\nA most maligning tale
\nEighty thousands martyrs
\nThe karmic debt abroad
\nTourists realisation
\nThat their deaths are no reward<\/p>\n
Heart broken mothers so despairing
\nSunk in misery
\nNauseated and disgusted
\nWhy it has to be
\nNature provides sufficient stocks
\nOf fish for all to share
\nThe wailing and the blubbering
\nAnd the whimpering despair
\nAny tourist seeing or hearing
\nThis will be
\nPut off and riled up a lot
\nNobody wants to see
\nBabies torn a\u2019sunder
\nTheir brains across the rocks
\nEye sockets full of blood
\nIt\u2019s something that really shocks<\/p>\n
Even the toughest among us
\nThese are babies to be sure
\nReally little angels
\nSo really what\u2019s it for
\nJust to make some extra cash
\nFor the government of the day
\nWho countenance the hideousness
\nFor there is no other way<\/p>\n
They haven\u2019t got a moral
\nAspect no not anywhere
\nThey are just bunch of heartless sods
\nWho feed on the despair
\nThey don\u2019t see it as offensive
\nWith bulging wallets they
\nLike the expensive wine it buys
