Animals share and care thats what they do
\nThey take over a lodge
\nAnd they just work it through
\nTheir spirits they realise
\nSomewhere that they
\nCan be safer at night
\nAnd during the day<\/p>\n
Before humans left the place
\nButchers were there
\nTorment and slaughter
\nNo one aware
\nOf the evil and hatred
\nThat humans create
\nThe arrogance clearly
\nThe vilest of trait<\/p>\n
Its was most humans
\nSuffering there
\nThe animal tribes too
\nWere abused and I swear
\nHunting was carried out
\nHundreds blood spilled
\nA torrent of hatred
\nWith so many killed<\/p>\n
As the humans left
\nDesolation set in
\nThe environment re balanced
\nAnd the kith and kin
\nCame back they could share
\nAll the rooms all the space
\nThey sought a shared solace
\nAnd shared all the grace<\/p>\n
Animals really they do understand
\nWhen they’ve eaten they sleep
\nAnd out on the land
\nIts much much more dangerous
\nThan finding a place
\nInside the lodge
\nKind of lost without trace<\/p>\n
Camera traps applied to the walls
\nPicked up behaviour
\nAnd the natual rules
\nPrey animals sleeping
\nWere not eaten by
\nCarniverous predators
\nDespite wondering why<\/p>\n
It didnt make sense
\nTo the humans who thought
\nDuring supineness
\nPrey couldnt be caught
\nAll shared the space
\nAnd the safety and care
\nWhich humans thought strange
\nFor they were not Aware<\/p>\n
That tribes have deportment
\nAnd principles too
\nThey eat when its time
\nBut those asleep just wont do
\nA greater authority exists
\nOne can say
\nAnd restraint is a gift
\nAt the end of the day<\/p>\n
They work on a higher vibration
\nThan we
\nThey know about karma and about destiny
\nThey suffer great pain
\nAs some humans do
\nAnd know just how thankless
\nThe task is its true<\/p>\n
We must think long and hard
\nAbout how advanced we
\nAre in the real world
\nAnd the adversity
\nWe impose on the animals
\nMany who were
\nThere long before us
\nI trust you concur<\/p>\n
And realise now that
\nWith understanding and verve
\nWe can all live together
\nAvoiding the curve
\nAvoiding the consequences
\nOf desire
\nOf incautiously heading back
