Wooden crates and paintings
\nOf happy folk, to me
\nIt is his cry above all else
\nOf non-conformity
\nThe word eccentricity
\nCan sometimes be a way
\nOf explaining but somehow I feel
\nIts rejection thats at play<\/p>\n
He feels he is a child at heart
\nAnd is not understood
\nEager to please and emotional
\nHe does want to be good
\nBut the child in him is overwhelmed
\nBy the non chalance out there
\nHe is the opposite of a pachyderm
\nHe feels things fair and square<\/p>\n
His wittiness is plain to see
\nSome see it as absurdity
\nAnd so he extends his repartee
\nHis biting wit and his drollery
\nAnd each euphuistic remedy
\nTongue in cheek and posteringly
\nMay come across as bogus even as insincere
\nBut I still feel he is hopeful
\nBut does harbour fear<\/p>\n
His incautiousness is catching
\nAs is his impetuosity
\nBuses crates all obviates
\nIts his indiscretions
\nWhich infuriates
\nThe Press the TV
\nAnd those who try
\nTo breach his defences
\nAnd by and by<\/p>\n
He remains aloof
\nIn his private world
\nWhere circumstances have now hurled
\nHim out into the limelight
\nWhere he
\nAppears stand-offish and a shade haughty<\/p>\n
He is wearing the boots of his father
\nIn purdah marooned so to say
\nConstantly told that he makes all these gaffes
\nAnd therfore wants to hideaway
\nBut is frantically searching for love
\nAnd desire
\nFor truth and endearment it may
\nHe is all alone in a very big world
