\nWhere nobody spoke
\nA silent march
\nOf the Grenfell folk
\nAn evening where solace
\nWas painful and true
\nThe people were waiting
\nHoping that YOU
\nThe government
\nThe council
\nThe cladders
\nThem all
\nThe architects
\nThe surveyors
\nWho all were on call
\nBut nobody spoke up
\nNobody knows
\nThe pain and the suffering
\nThrough silence it grows
\nGrenfell stills stands there
\nCovered in green
\nInside we all know
\nThe charred remains have been
\nThere its a grave for so many and we
\nCant wait any more
\nFor their souls to fly free.
\nBaskets were opened
\nAnd pigeons flew free
\nGreen balloons were sent
\nAnd wherever they be
\nPeople observing know
\nThis energy
\nIs wanting so much
\nTo see this misery
\nAt least realise
\nWhat happened
\nWill be
\nResolved so that
\nGrenfell folk
\nCan try to see
\nsomething constructive
\nWhereas we all know
\nHigh risers still exist
\nThe risks therefore grow
\nPeople still waiting
\nTo be rehoused they
\nLiving in temporary homes
\nEvery day
\nNo one can settle
\nThe pain of it all
\nNo one’s been charged
\nIt feels like a call
\nFor a cover up
\nJust like the burnt out remains
\nCovered up lit up
\nFeel how this drains
\nPeoples emotions
\nKnowing its there
