Without knowing the meaning
\nOf joy we experience
\nLife with our mothers
\nIdyllic it was
\nBut So many changes
\nAnd Humiliation
\nCome to the family
\nAnd it is because
\nHumans continue
\nTo search in our homelands
\nOur vulnerability
\nSeemingly sets
\nus on a course
\nTo be looking extinction
\nStraight in the face
\nFacing down all the debts<\/p>\n
The Matriarch power base
\nHas proven productive
\nIt\u2019s ramifications were weighted
\nTo be
\nAlways protective and thoroughly
\nHelpful
\nBut as time moved on
\nThen adversity<\/p>\n
Took to the skies
\nTo the forests and valleys
\nAll of the joy we experienced
\nLeft
\nUs two young elephants
\nCaught up in life we
\nFound ourselves sickening
\nAnd being bereft<\/p>\n
We died in those pools
\nDisadvantaged and mistaken
\nPoison was laid
\nA reckless pursuit
\nSo much insanity
\nSurrounds the people
\nDisinformation
\nIs at its root<\/p>\n
We suffered terribly
\nDuped and forgotten
\nWe were deleted
\nAnd left where we fell
\nThere was little will
\nTo work with our spirit
