A state of expectation
\nA new smart tv
\nIt just came from Amazon
\nToshiba seemed to be
\nBigger than I had had before
\nUsed to an I pad screen
\nAnd there it was
\nUnpacked and waiting
\nA new fangled machine
\nInstructions really nothing
\nBut A phone call got me to
\nSupport but didn\u2019t get much
\nI didn\u2019t know what to do
\nToshiba said they would ring me back
\nBut nothing had I heard
\nSo I thought of check a trade
\nWho listened to every word<\/p>\n
John Garvin I gave him a bell
\nAnd an Ian came along
\nFriendly thoughtful considerate
\nHe certainly did belong
\nIn the caring classes
\nThe amps the cables he
\nReplaced them
\nAnd he sorted the
\nTV out for me
\nHe was businesslike
\nAnd friendly
\nHe communicated well
\nAffable and sensible
\nIt was easy to tell
\nThat he was experienced
\nAssured and absolute
\nHe put it all succinctly
\nQuickly found the root<\/p>\n
Now the Tv was set up
\nThe price he said and we
\nSaw that he was willing
\nTo really try to be
\nAs helpful as he could be
\nHe made every thing feel
\nExplaining what he was doing
\nBusiness like and real
\nNow I have a new tv
\nAnd it\u2019s expedient to say
\nIan who came from Hemel Hempstead
\nKind of made my day
\nThe introductory phone call
\nWith John Carlin made me feel
\nConfident and happy
\nNeither made a meal<\/p>\n
Of anything just confidence
\nThat help was on its way
\nHandiness and deftness
\nAnd a good price today
\nA little bit of banter
\nA practiced hand and eye
